Employee Communications Business Partner - Fitch Solutions

Fitch Group is looking for an Employee Communications professional to lead internal communications for Fitch Solutions. This role involves collaborating with leadership to craft and implement communication strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
The Employee Communications Business Partner (ECBP) will drive initiatives to keep Fitch Solutions employees informed about the organization's vision, goals, and updates, as well as share Fitch Solutions' key achievements with the broader Fitch Group.
The ideal Employee Communications Business Partner will be a proactive, trusted advisor with a keen understanding of the business and its employee audience, committed to delivering results. This role is part of the Employee Communications team within Fitch Group's Human Resources department.
This position is based at Hearst Tower in New York City.

- Build and implement communication strategies, including planning, messaging, stakeholder management, content and outcomes
We’ll Count on You To:
- Leverage your experience building and implementing employee communications to guide, advise and co-create comms programs and campaigns that advance business objectives and inspire, educate, and align Fitch employees around our mission, strategy, values and impact
- Support organizational change initiatives by developing and executing communication plans to steward employees through change and growth, balancing communicating the goals and outcomes of the business with experiences that help build a sense of purpose, enable and drive performance, and instill pride and belonging
- Activate senior leaders as communicators and culture carriers who help employees gain a fuller understanding of the breadth and depth of Fitch’s business and who participate in meaningful engagement with employees across the company. This includes developing and executing a cadence of strategic leadership messages on business strategy and initiatives to inform, engage and activate employees through manager communications, employee town halls, and open Q&A sessions.
- Create and market content, actively managing, monitoring and optimizing internal communications channels based on metrics and feedback, leading to an optimal multi-channel approach.
- Own the outcomes by setting specific goals, measuring and monitoring progress, and making data-driven recommendations and decisions
What You Need to Have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of and success in creating and implementing core internal communications, change management and employee engagement strategies
- Expertise in creating and delivering communication strategies and plans in fast paced, global, regulated organizations
- A strong executive presence and authority in communicating with all levels of management and employees
- Influence with leadership decisions through sound, informed judgement and fact-based advice about Employee Communications strategies
- Expertise in the benefits and drawbacks of different communication mediums and channels, and be comfortable with written, visual and video
- Proven ability to analyze metrics and a data-driven and design-thinker who incorporates user research into everything you do
- Passion about providing unparalleled levels of service

- Commitment to exceeding expectations with the quality of what you do
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role, taking on additional responsibilities as required
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in employee communications in a global, matrixed organization
- Experience in communications for a commercial/sales organization
- Experience in a regulated financial services company is an advantage
- Ability to build solid, trusting relationships and to be confident in giving your opinion and taking on feedback

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 – $180,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
