IT Project Manager
Information Technology is currently seeking an IT Project Manager based out of our New York office.
We are seeking a demonstrated Project Manager with technical and business acumen to join the IT Infrastructure Business Operations team to support the planning and development of Technology Infrastructure projects while using various PM practices, particularly in adopting new Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of stakeholder groups. This position requires the ability to balance thought leadership, implementation know-how and team facilitation, while exploring new ways of working.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Manage scope, timelines, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals
- Organize and oversee team’s business as usual workflows along with project deliverables
- Facilitate discussions, decision making and conflict resolution
- Promote and demonstrate core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility
- Ensure the team is communicating their progress to track towards a set of Agile metrics
- Provide status updates to Product Owners and group management
- Promote team organization around achieving their commitments
- Challenge and enable the team to continuously improve through intentional and data driven inspect, adapting to sprint cycles
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and best practices to progress Infrastructure’s core project goals
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years working experience in Project Management
- A continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to uncovering better ways of working
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Excellent written and oral communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and squads with competing priorities
- Commitment to organization’s new ways of working through greater collaboration
- In-depth knowledge of Jira, Smartsheet and Confluence, or similar tools

- Working experience in various Agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, etc. with technical teams
- Superb follow-through; propensity to approach tasks and goals with an ownership mentality
- Experience in the coaching and development of squads

FOR NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $140,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
***This is a hybrid role, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote.
