Finance Analyst, Management Accountant
 

Finance team is currently seeking a Management Accountant based out of our Hong Kong office.

Finance team in Hong Kong is APAC Regional Finance hub supervising and supporting the finance functions of Fitch’s rating and non-rating business in the region, working closely with Group Finance team in London/New York and local Finance team in other Asia countries.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Journal posting, transaction data input/upload, AP clearing, expense claim processing, banking/treasury transactions and clerical work for APAC offices
  • SAP support for APAC countries including managing master data, create transactions, problem solving (supporting SAP technical team), test new features and provide training as necessary.
  • Provide regional finance reports and analysis to Regional Controller - APAC
  • Back-up role as necessary in the absence or vacancy of country Finance staff
  • Support month-end closing, year-end audit

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Education degree in accounting is a preferred.  Professional qualification in accounting is a plus.
  • A minimum 4 years’ experience in accounting/finance at multinational companies
  • Good communication skills.  English fluency and working level Mandarin capability.
  • Proficiency in SAP FI-CO module
  • Flexible and versatile mindset to be able to handle wide range and different nature tasks. Team player.
     

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Work experience with various internal & external counterparts in APAC countries including HK, China, Australia, Japan, Korea and AESEAN countries. 
  • Previous experience using accounting software such as Oracle.
