The Fitch Group Scrum Master Center of Excellence (CoE) is a global chapter dedicated to supporting, empowering and knowledge sharing for all organizational Agile practitioners. It is a community focused on evangelizing Scrum values and principles, helping squads follow best practices and lean processes, growing and supporting members in increasing their knowledge and expertise, while focusing on collaboration, continuous improvement and business value delivery.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Agile Coaching and Facilitation: Guide, coach, and motivate teams to increase Agile fluency and adoption; organize and lead Scrum ceremonies; facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Project and Scope Management: Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals, and deliverables to support business objectives; ensure progress tracking and communication through Agile metrics; identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Coordinate activities with other squads across the program; partner with and support Product Owners and Tribe Leads; participate in Scrum of Scrums and collaborate with other Scrum Masters; promote Agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, accountability, and visibility.
- Delivery: Help squads deliver products that delight customers, ensure we have a roadmap to achieve our objectives, and keep the leadership and stakeholders informed.
- Best Practices Adoption: Partner with Product, Development & Quality chapters to understand best practices established by these chapters and coach squads to follow them.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance or Business Management, or equivalent experience
- Experience in coaching and development of squads and other Scrum Masters
- 5 years of working experience in various Agile methodologies such as Kanban, Scrum, etc.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, a continuous improvement mind-set and dedication to uncovering better ways of working
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Experience in mentoring people
- In-depth knowledge of Jira and Confluence a plus
- Experience in Behavior Driven Development, Event Storming and User Story Mapping

FOR CHICAGO ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $135,000 and $150,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
