Senior Market Research Associate, US Public Finance
U.S. Public Finance (USPF) Business Relationship Management (BRM) is currently seeking a Senior Market Research Associate based out of our Chicago, Austin, or New York office. This exciting support role will report to a Senior Director in the USPF BRM team, focusing on supporting the national USPF team with Salesforce data maintenance, client engagements, marketing distributions, market share data analysis, and general client requests.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Research and validate new business opportunities, combining actionable market data from multiple sources and data sets.
- Maintain and update data in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Prepare commercial agreements for new and existing issuers.
- Contact external stakeholders, organize meetings, and prepare appropriate background information as needed.
- Develop impactful presentations and other marketing materials in collaboration with the marketing team.
What You Need to Have:
- A relevant university degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, or data analytics.
- Excellent Excel/data analytic skills (lookups, index, pivot tables, macros, formulas, shortcuts, etc.).
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English; other languages are an advantage.
- Aptitude to learn new data systems and incorporate them into research.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $80,000 and $90,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
