Associate Director, Business Relationship Management, Colombo

Fitch Ratings’ Business Relationship Management (BRM) group in Colombo is looking for an Associate Director in providing tactical marketing and business development management support. The team works closely with the wider BRM team across Asia-Pacific.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Support BRM initiatives for the Australian office
  • Compile various billings, accounting and internal performance reports
  • Co-ordinate revenue analysis of applicable customer relationships
  • Organise Fitch-hosted and sponsored events
  • Provide cover for other BRM team members in their absence
  • Support investor development and outreach

 

BRM Support:

  • Provide a link between business relationship managers to ensure revenue objectives are met in accordance with annual plans.
  • Enhance coordination with Investor development, Events, FIS, Analytical team and Fitch Training. Identify key deliverables from Investor Development to improve marketing strength.
  • Compile various management reports around internal performance paying particular attention to timeliness and accuracy (SalesForce, internal management reports, weekly highlights).
  • Full compliance with all Fitch policies, procedures, compliance and reporting requirements. Compliance with BRM policy manual.

 

Events Management:

  • Take a lead role in organising all events (Fitch-hosted and -sponsored)
  • Work with analytical teams and BRM to organise and manage events

Investor Development Support:

  • Work with the BRM managers and rating analytical teams to execute outreach plans throughout the year.
  • Support interactions that lead to new business origination

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Five years’ or above relevant marketing or relationship management experience in debt capital markets or banking/financial services sectors
  • University degree with specialization in business, finance and other relevant disciplines; Member of CIMA/ICASL.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
  • Good command of spoken and written English;

  • Effective presentation, sound knowledge of MS Office and negotiation skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management and market participants on important industry issues;
