The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team is currently seeking a FP&A Associate Director based out of our London office.

This role involves providing financial insights and support to two key business lines within Fitch Solutions: BMI and Fitch Learning, in collaboration with a senior director.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our business lines and their strategic objectives in relation to financial operations.
  • Master workflow systems from order to cash & purchase to payment, proposing process improvements.
  • Assist in the creation of budgets and forecasts, providing insight and detailed analysis.
  • Manage monthly performance reporting with full accountability.
  • Ensure accurate pricing and discount management.
  • Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management.
  • Drive process enhancements in financial operations to support strategic business goals.
  • Offer ad hoc support to explore trends and resolve emerging issues.
  • Function as a reliable Business and Finance partner to the Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting.
  • Working with senior stakeholders to influence major financial decisions.

What You Need to Have:

  • Previous experience in FP&A Roles with a desire to continue this development.
  • Proven experience of business operations and process improvements that have been delivered
  • Problem-solving abilities utilizing available resources effectively.
  • Fully Qualified Accountant.
  • Expertise in financial software applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, ERP systems and AI Tools.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
  • Previous experience creating Financial Models and use of business intelligence tools.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.
