About the Team

We are seeking a talented Associate Director, Sales Data & Strategy to join our Fitch Solutions Sales Organization, specifically within the Sales Strategy & Planning team. This pivotal role requires deep expertise in Data governance, CRM systems and Process optimization to enable strategic decision-making and enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will leverage their substantial experience in B2B SaaS environments to lead initiatives that optimize data quality and system functionality.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales Strategy & Planning, the Associate Director will be a key player in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales data and systems. You will lead efforts to enhance CRM data integrity, streamline data processes, and help provide actionable insights that support our Commercial organization, including Senior Sales Leadership, Sales Ops, and Finance Operations teams.

  • Develop and implement data quality standards, processes, and controls to ensure CRM data integrity and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular audits and data cleansing activities to maintain high-quality data.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving day-to-day data issues, ensuring prompt identification and resolution of discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with Technology, CRM Ops and other relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve data-related challenges.
  • Evaluate and optimize CRM systems and processes to enhance data management and accessibility.
  • Implement automation and tools to streamline data entry and reduce manual errors.
  • Establish and enforce a data governance framework, including policies and guidelines for data management and usage.
  • Train and educate users on best practices and data governance policies to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with senior partners and stakeholders to understand business needs and align data management strategies accordingly.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure that data initiatives support organizational objectives.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into data quality and system performance.
  • Use analytical tools to identify trends and areas for improvement in data management.
  • Lead change management efforts related to data management, ensuring that new systems and processes are effectively communicated and adopted.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management to continually enhance CRM data quality and governance.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 4-6 years of experience, primarily in a B2B SaaS company, focusing on CRM systems and data management. 
  • Proven track record in data quality assurance and governance initiatives leading CRM system optimization and data integrity projects.
  • Experience in resolving complex data issues and optimizing CRM systems and processes.
  • Expertise in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, with a strong understanding of data structures and system functionality.
  • Proficiency in data management tools and software, including data cleansing and auditing applications.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to articulate data-related concepts and solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

 What Would Make You Stand Out: 

  • Experience with PowerBI, SAP, SQL Server, data warehouses, and reporting analytics suites. 
  • Prior experience in leading data strategy or governance initiatives within a commercial setting.
