Fitch Group’s Internal Audit function is currently seeking a Technology Auditor at the Director level based out of our London office.

About the Team

The Internal Audit function is responsible for evaluating whether Fitch’s governance, risk management, and internal control processes are operating adequately. The Technology Audit team plays a critical role in providing independent and objective assurance on the design and effectiveness of IT controls.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Lead and conduct technology audits to assess control risks across IT systems and processes.
  • Manage and mentor a team of two Technology Auditors, providing guidance and supporting their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify technology-related risks and agree on mitigating actions.
  • Prepare clear and constructive audit reports for senior management.
  • Monitor and confirm the timely implementation of management’s action plans.
  • Stay updated with the potential risks and threats posed by advancing technology.

 

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in technology auditing or technology risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and processes including:
    • Cybersecurity
    • Business continuity and disaster recovery
    • Network infrastructure and security protocols
    • Cloud computing environments and associated risks
    • Systems development life cycle and application controls
    • Identity and access management
    • Artificial intelligence and emerging technology
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

 

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC.
  • A track record of successful team management within an audit or IT function.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience with AuditBoard or MetricStream.
