Fitch Ratings’ Global Core Operations team is seeking Operations Associates to join the group in our Manchester office.

 

Fitch Ratings Operations is focused on developing an efficient operating environment for analytical teams by bringing consistency and standardization to all operational aspects of the rating process

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Maintain accurate data, electronic documentation, and perform timely routine administrative tasks in support of the ratings analysts using Fitch’s proprietary applications.
  • Partner with team members to ensure the successful completion of ad hoc requests and special projects.
  • Engage collaboratively with analytical teams, IT and others to ensure that the correct processes are followed to meet the needs of the users.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the current processes, procedures, applications, management reports and training to provide the highest quality support to the global analytical community.
  • Promote an overall understanding of existing and new compliance and regulatory issues and related policies and procedures.

 What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or 2+ years experience in an administrative or operational position.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, proactive, and adaptable to change.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can work well both independently and as part of a team environment.
  • Customer focused with the commitment to providing exceptional client service.

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience working at a global financial services organisation.
  • Experience in data management and fixed income knowledge would be a plus.
