Operations Associate, Performance Ops - Monterrey

 

Core Operations is currently seeking an Operations Associate based out of our Monterrey office.

 

Fitch’s Core Operations team is part of the Ratings Operations Group and this role supports the Structured Finance department around the world by providing the latest performance data from trustee reports.

 

What We Offer:

  • This is an opportunity to learn about the different types of Structured Finance products which is a specialist and growing area of investment.
  • The candidates will interact with Fitch’s credit ratings analysts from around the world.
  • The Performance Operations team is located across three regions in APAC, EMEA and Latin America.

 

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Managing the collection and processing of surveillance report data from external sources into internal applications/databases.
  • Validating data through the complete workflow cycle.
  • Building working relationships with ratings’ analysts to review and maintain the data.
  • Preparing initial data capture for new transactions.
  • Writing and maintaining process documentation.

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or 2-3 years' of experience in similar area or role.
  • Fluent English (writting and speaking)
  • Passion for working with financial data
  • Able to deliver to tight deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.
  • An intermediate/advanced understanding of Excel and macros is preferable.
  • An interest and aptitude for the application of information technology to improving processes would also be advantageous.

  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter and keen to learn.
  • The role involves close interaction with Fitch colleagues in offices around the world; so excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude are essential. The role also involves interaction with external parties (trustees and servicers) across multiple, global locations.
  • This will also require a candidate to have excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • Must enjoy working as part of a team.
