Fitch Ratings is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant based out of our New York office.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations.
- Own and optimize calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls (external scheduling for MDs also required).
- Oversee successful execution of in-person and virtual meetings (booking rooms, virtual meeting rooms, audio / visual setup, greeting visitors, respond to participant requests in a timely manner, etc.).
- Coordinate travel arrangements, prepare itineraries, and obtain approvals as needed.
- Assist with research projects and administrative tasks such as data entry, preparation of presentations and materials for conferences and meetings, and other related clerical duties.
- Prepare and submit expense reports.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding as needed.
- Plan team meetings including offsites, group holiday events, etc.
- Act as liaison with IT, Mailroom, Facilities and other building personnel (Security, Property Management, etc.).
- Provide other ad hoc support as needed.
- Prioritize and take-initiative in completing assignments, juggle various tasks, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines all with minimal supervision.
- Complete work at a very high standard.
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Have 5+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Possess high proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Salesforce.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills with an eye for detail.
- Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Have outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization.
- Can establish and maintain effective working relations with supervising personnel, coworkers, and business professionals.
- Maintain a problem-solving mindset and positive attitude.
- Display a high degree of professionalism in all respects.
- Are flexible and able to multitask and prioritize work.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Demonstrated experience in managing executive calendars and scheduling.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Salesforce.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexible and able to multitask, supporting two or three people or more.
- Experience with handling travel expenses and maintaining Salesforce notes.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $70,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
