Global Account Management (GAM) is currently seeking an Account Manager based out of our New York office.
In this fast-paced sales role based in New York you will be part of a Global Account Management team responsible for sales and account management for Fitch Solutions across a list of global and strategic clients.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Drive value to a high-profile subset of our clients through the sale of the Fitch Solutions suite of products and services including:
- Credit Risk Solutions, Research, and ratings data services.
- Best in class suite of credit research, news, and covenant analysis
- Geopolitical research and data
- Sustainability research and data services
- Nurture strong relationships with clients to maintain loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Understand and promote company products and/or services.
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries or complaints.
- Actively participate in sales team meetings and provide insights for improvement.
- Manage negotiations and close sales deals effectively, meeting, or exceeding sales quotas and goals.
This is a direct sales, target-based performance position offering base salary and commission. You will be expected to protect the business within Global Accounts while monetizing value added by our existing services and the expansion into new products.
What You Need to Have:
- It is essential that you have sales/business development experience, preferably within the fixed income and risk management arena.
- A proven track record in developing business and growing revenue streams with major Institutions.
- A history of working well in teams
- Ability to understand client strategy to build a business and action plan.
- You must be self-motivated and able to generate ideas while demonstrating initiative, tenacity, and perseverance.
- It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate strategy and tactics both internally and externally.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using sales software, CRM systems, and other relevant computer applications.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field is usually preferred.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $120,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
