Fitch Solutions is seeking a CreditSights Business Analyst for our NY office. This role provides an exciting opportunity to grow your career within a global financial services company that supports financial institutions with premium ratings, research, and data across various use cases.
The Business Analyst, part of the Market Development team, is a crucial role within Fitch Solutions' commercial organization. The role involves designing and executing initiatives and campaigns that support global sales and revenue growth plans. Acting as a bridge between CreditSights business leads and the Sales and Account Management teams, the Business Analyst brings industry and product expertise to customers through coordinated sales campaigns.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Design and implement multi-channel sales campaigns to boost sales results.
- Monitor and report on campaign progress, making adjustments as needed (supported by Sales Operations).
- Develop customer-centric value propositions and sales messaging connecting customer challenges with Fitch Solutions' value.
- Use data to create TAM/SAM bottom-up sizings to prioritize sales focus.
- Conduct detailed analysis and create opportunities for cross-sell and upsell sales planning.
- Build strong relationships across the company to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Engage strategically with clients, establishing relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Aggregate and prioritize customer feedback to provide product and industry intelligence to business owners.
KPIs:
- Revenue growth from sales and retention of existing and new clients.
- Sales productivity metrics.
- Campaign outcomes: qualified leads, opportunity creation, conversion rates.
- Client feedback.
- Feedback from business partners.
Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years supporting a business development function within Financial Services.
- Pricing and commercial acumen regarding data and analytics.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to make a business case using large data sets and analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
