Associate Director, Supplier Management

Fitch Group’s Global Business Services team is currently seeking an Associate Director, Supplier Management based out of our NY location.

Reporting into the Head of Supplier Management, you will also work closely with the Head of Procurement, the Center of Excellence, IT, Compliance, RAPP and Legal to bring value to the firm through this newly created role. The Associate Director, Supplier Management will drive strategic value through performance reporting and effective oversight and management of suppliers’ compliance with global regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have professional skills in Project Management, Microsoft Office products with heavy emphasis on Excel and analytical skills, and will have a proven track of process improvement. Also, the successful candidate will have experience working in regulated industries with the ability to read, understand and apply relevant regulatory requirements.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Implement and maintain the automated administration, review and reporting of annual assessments for in-scope regulated suppliers, including:
    • Maintaining the supplier management guidelines (annual review or more frequent as needed)
    • Maintaining the DORA supplier register of information and other required regulatory documentation
    • Screening new suppliers for regulatory oversight eligibility and other business risks
    • Ensuring supplier profiles in supplier management systems are kept current and complete
    • Ensuring reporting is available to Compliance, IT and Regulators in near real time
    • Oversee supplier compliance with supplier management policies
  • Contribute to development and execution of supplier management strategies and objectives
  • Support IT as needed for Cloud Service Provider and other required reporting
  • Produce quarterly data usage reporting as required by data providers’ contracts
  • Report cybersecurity incidents to suppliers as set forth in Fitch policies
  • Oversee the supplier offboarding/deactivation process
  • Develop tiering criteria, and implement governance plans for top-tier and other suppliers
  • Develop and maintain a responsible sourcing program, partnering with the DEI and Sourcing teams. Responsible sourcing will include Supplier Diversity and ESG/CSR activities.

 

What You Need to Have:

  • 5-10 years of Supplier Management, Supplier Compliance and Procurement related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field of study
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Knowledge of procurement systems and supplier management platforms. 
  • Excellent communication and project management skills and experience in working closely with internal client business units, senior stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast paced environment

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience with supplier management methodologies and tools such as Ivalua and Agiloft
  • Previous background in a regulated Financial Services firm

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $110,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
