About the role:

 

Finance team is looking for you! The primary role is to efficiently support the day-to-day financial tasks with professionalism and under moderate supervision. This involves handling more complex duties that require independent judgment, as well as a solid understanding of company policies, procedures, and the importance of trust, confidentiality, and accuracy. The professional will be responsible for offering support in financial and administrative matters

 

We’ll Count on You To:

 

  • Act as a member of the Finance Department, handling activities such as treasury operations.
  • Approve meeting room schedule requests in Outlook.
  • Act as the primary contact with the travel agency, addressing issues or queries as they arise.
  • Review travel expense reports for accuracy in the travel system (Concur).
  • Assist staff with hotel and flight reservations via the online booking tool.
  • Organize small events.
  • Support the management of corporate credit card controls.
  • Assist with employee onboarding-related matters.
  • Coordinate with the Evalua team abroad for the creation and maintenance of supplier records.
  • Manage and maintain control of the courier service.
  • Handle archiving responsibilities.
  • Oversee reception duties.
  • Handle business visitors.
  • Screen phone calls.
  • Handle private and confidential documents.
  • Oversee the purchasing of office and kitchen supplies for the offices.
  • Manage the petty cash for the offices.

 

What You Need to Have:

 

  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • University degree with at least five years of relevant work experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of business Portuguese, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Advanced skills in English (both written and spoken).
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tasks and software as required.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with supervisors, coworkers, and business professionals.

  • Skill in recognizing and suggesting solutions to problems arising from the group's day-to-day activities.
  • Capability to project a positive and considerate image to external parties and coworkers.
  • Languages requirements: Portuguese (native), English (spoken and written proficiency); knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
