Market Research Associate - Brazil
BRM (Business and Relationship Management) is currently seeking a market research associate based out of our São Paulo office.
The Market Research Associate role is housed within the Business and Relationship Management (BRM) group based in São Paulo.
The candidate will be a key member of the Investor, Banker and Private Equity Teams. These teams’ principal objectives are to develop the relationship with the local investor base, bankers and private equity firms in Brazil.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Support Brazil’s country manager in managing and developing Fitch’s Investor, Banker and Private Equity existing and new business relationships.
- Deep capital markets research and prepare briefings for meetings
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations, marketing materials and email campaigns under guidance from senior members of the team.
- Understand and monitor competitors’ ratings, maintaining internal reports and internal database with company/target and contacts information.
- Monitor news, keep track of Brazil’s capital markets activities (local and external debt issuances), refinancing and M&A activities daily
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, mathematics or analytically focused field of study.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and attention to details
- Be pro-active on researching and finding new business opportunities (business oriented), strong organizational skills.
