US Public Finance - Business Relationship Management, Associate Director – Western Regional Representative
U.S. Public Finance (USPF) Business Relationship Management (BRM) is currently seeking an Associate Director based out of our San Francisco or Western U.S. office. This role is integral to the USPF BRM group, focusing on banker and financial advisor relationship management, new and existing client business development (Issuers), and contract management. This client-facing, relationship management role also includes elements of team support.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Originate new rating mandates directly from new or existing issuers, financial advisors, and bankers.
- Manage relationships with a portfolio of existing issuers.
- Prepare fee letters and legal documentation associated with new mandates.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies.
- Prepare pitches and other marketing materials for new business generation or revenue retention initiatives.
- Support USPF on tactical and strategic projects.
- Execute special projects in areas such as new product development and competitor analysis.
- Work closely with the analytical team to prioritize and execute on new mandates and pitching activities.
- Coordinate with BRM colleagues throughout Fitch to help coordinate market interaction.
What You Need to Have:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in debt capital markets, rating advisory, or credit rating agency.
- Excellent English language skills; strong marketing, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of debt capital markets.
- Experience with Salesforce, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial data systems such as Bloomberg.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $105,000 and $130,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
