Account Manager, Sydney

 

Fitch Solutions is currently seeking an Account Manager for the Sales team based out of our Sydney office.

Reporting directly to the Regional Director, Oceania Region, this role is to oversee a portfolio of clients, develop business from existing clients, actively seek new sales opportunities, establish and implement strategic plans to grow the territories, and co-ordinate with internal teams to deliver on our business target and ambition.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Set up and engaging strategic meetings with clients and potential customers to identify the new sales opportunities with strong product knowledge, market knowledge, competitive landscape and being highly organised and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals.
  • Leverage cross-functional internal teams (including Client Services, Product Specialists, Analysts, Marketing) to develop the strategic plans to actively approach new potential customers and displace competitors.
  • Active following up on leads and providing superior customer service with excellent problem solving and sales skills to grow existing business, win new logos, minimise cancellations to meet and exceed Sales Activities and Sales Target within given territories.
  • Assist the Regional Director and supporting sales team to create a highly-performing team.
  • Produce weekly pipeline reports, maintaining up-to-date client records using a variety of internal systems and using Excel, Outlook, and the current CRM database: SalesForce.com

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Degree educated (or equivalent) within a Finance, Business, Commerce or Economics discipline. Knowledge of Fixed Incomes is preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with business development, sales or account management
  • Experience managing large account portfolios and client facing role with cold calling, product demoing and training experience
  • Confident and professional telephone manner to develop rapport quickly with prospective clients.   
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written with ability to communicate clearly and concisely by email
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills and strong initiative/results driven
  • Proficient user of Outlook and other Microsoft applications, particularly Excel
  • Fluency in English is essential
