Director, Account Manager, Japan                

 

Core Sales and Account Management Group is currently seeking an Account Director based out of our Tokyo office.

In this high-profile sales role based in Tokyo, Japan, you will be part of a Global Accounts Management team responsible for growing the sales effort and relationship for Fitch Solutions across a list of Japanese global and strategic clients.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Selling a suite of products and services within Fitch Solutions that includes:
  • Fixed Income & Credit Solutions
  • Research and ratings data services
  • Country Risk and Industry Content
  • ESG data and research
  • CreditSights
  • Valuation, workflow and analytical tools
  • Protect the business while growing it within Global Accounts
  • Developing your network of contacts across Global Accounts at the CRO, CFO and credit officer level
  • Growing the Fitch Solutions business by persuading, negotiating & creating value proposition effectively at C level

 

What You Need to Have:

  • 8-10 years sales/business development experience, within the fixed income and risk management arena
  • A proven track record in developing business and growing revenue streams with major Institutions
  • Fluent in Japanese and English, additional languages will be an advantage 
  • Ability to assume leadership and strategy ownership for a set number of clients
  • Demonstrate good history of working well in teams
  • Understanding of rating agencies environment and also of risk management requirements in strategic decision making, risk identification, risk quantification / quantitative modelling processes
  • Ability to understand client strategy to build a business and action plan
  • Given the nature of this position, we are seeking an articulate, personable and energetic self-starter
