Credit Analyst – Structured Finance and Covered Bonds

The Structured Finance and Covered Bonds team is seeking an Analyst based in our Frankfurt office.

Fitch’s Structured Finance and Covered Bonds department is responsible for assigning and maintaining the ratings of covered bonds programmes and structured finance transactions, such as auto loan and lease securitisations or residential mortgage-backed securitisations. The team covers various regions such as Germany, the Netherlands, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe.

We’ll Count on You To:

• Prepare rating decisions and present your analysis at internal rating committees, including an accurate quantitative modelling of asset and liability cash-flows
• Applying Fitch’s rating criteria in a consistent manner while treating cases on their merits
• Produce fluent, concise commentaries and reports publishing our rating actions and credit rationale
• Conduct a qualitative assessment of the operational risks based on calls or on-site reviews at the issuing financial institutions
• Review relevant laws and regulations as well as legal documentation

What You Need to Have:

• Master’s degree or equivalent with a specialty in Finance, Economics, Maths or similar
• Strength in numeracy and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Fluency in German as well as the capacity to communicate complex ideas verbally and in simple written business English.
