Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Business Analyst, Lead based out of our London, England office 

The Fitch Group Scrum Master & Business Analysis Center of Excellence (CoE) is a global chapter dedicated to supporting, empowering, and knowledge sharing for all organizational Agile practitioners. As AI becomes increasingly central to Fitch’s ways of working, the CoE is committed to helping teams integrate AI technologies and practices into Agile processes. The community focuses on evangelizing Agile values and principles, supporting squads as they adopt best practices—including those related to AI and automation—growing and supporting members in increasing their knowledge and expertise in both Agile and AI, while emphasizing collaboration, continuous improvement, and business value delivery.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Business and Technology Alignment: Collaborate with business partners to align technology solutions—including AI-enabled capabilities—with business strategies and support complex business processes requiring advanced technical solutions.
• AI Integration: Identify opportunities for AI adoption within business processes, support the implementation of AI-powered tools, and facilitate change management related to AI-driven transformation.
• Agile Partnership: Partner with technical teams on Agile processes, including story creation and backlog grooming, and assist with the analysis and documentation of workflows, system designs, and use-cases, with a focus on leveraging AI technologies where applicable.
• Technical Insight and Documentation: Understand technical complexities—including those related to AI and machine learning models—provide estimation insights, identify risks (including those associated with AI deployment), and perform data profiling to validate requirements and document data flows between sub-systems.
• Education and Collaboration: Educate project team members on business goals, the value of software—including AI solutions—being produced, assist with smoke testing, and work with teams across the organization to advance projects and promote AI literacy and adoption.

You May be a Good Fit if:

• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis and requirements management with strong attention to detail. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work well with teams and stakeholders. 
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and a pro-active problem-solver mindset. 
• Experience working in high-demand environments with superb follow-through and an ownership mentality. 
• Aptitude in leveraging AI tools and techniques to analyze business processes, identify trends, and uncover opportunities to increase impact, value, and productivity.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks, Jira, and exposure to Appian and/or Qlik, as well as experience with workflows and workflow-related systems, is a plus. 

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

• Experience in breaking down business problems and identifying opportunities to apply AI or automation for improved efficiency and insights.
• In-depth knowledge of Jira and Confluence, with experience tracking and documenting AI-related user stories and workflows a plus.
• Experience in Behavior Driven Development, Event Storming, and User Story Mapping, ideally including projects involving AI technologies or data-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with AI concepts, machine learning workflows, or experience working on projects that leverage AI tools and platforms (preferred).
