Fitch Group is currently seeking an Event Manager based out of our London office.
The Event Manager will be an integral part of the Global Events team in developing high-quality Fitch customer engagement programs that advance the Fitch Group brand through the flawless delivery and execution of events at industry trade shows and conferences as well as Fitch-hosted events in EMEA. We are looking for a seasoned event manager with a proven track record who can quickly take charge of a dynamic portfolio of events to cover a maternity contract.
The role of Event Manager for Fitch Group, reporting into the Director, Corporates Events, is to support with a busy calendar of events both Fitch owned and third-party events, as well as virtual events. Collaborating with internal and external partners, this role works closely with the Director, Corporates Events and the wider Group Marketing functions to ensure that all our events are well promoted, attended and executed, and that our presence at events is well managed, professional, measured and aligned with business strategy.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Support Corporate sector, in planning and delivering a diverse range of events across EMEA, ensuring each event aligns with Fitch Group’s strategy and applies best practices to drive results
- Lead end-to-end delivery of corporate hospitality and gala/awards dinners, including budgeting, vendor selection, contracting and guest management
- Manage online courses year‑round, covering registration setup, invitations, and attendee management, while collaborating with Learning, BRM, and Marketing to align objectives and ensure professional execution
- Ownership of three designated EMEA regions within the Corporate events portfolio, serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, tracking spend, and accommodating new opportunities as they arise
- Support other flagship events and smaller initiatives within the calendar, supporting on logistics such as venue sourcing, catering, AV, design and branding coordination, speaker and attendee management, budget management / cost control, and other event essentials
- Primary ownership of the Global Infrastructure Group EMEA portfolio, serving as the central stakeholder contact, managing and tracking a moderate budget, leading all sector-specific events, conducting monthly update calls, and fostering a smooth, collaborative delivery approach
- Beyond Fitch-owned events, this role will manage third-party sponsorships covering exhibition and stand branding, activations, speaking engagements, virtual platforms, and coordinating internal attendance
- Lead post-event evaluation and reporting, using insights to inform future planning across all coordinated events
- Oversee the global event calendar to prevent scheduling conflicts and ensure alignment and coordination among Fitch Group companies
- Collaborate with the marketing team and business units to align on short- and long-term business objectives, focusing on KPI measurements and overall strategy
What You Need to Have:
- 5 years of strong relevant Event Management experience including multiple event types
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be a team player, adaptable to fast-paced, changing environments; with ability to work closely with multiple departments
