About the Team
Working closely with a Finance Senior Director, this role involves providing financial insights and support to the BMI business within Fitch Solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the BMI business and its strategic objectives and how they relate to financial planning activities.
- Manage monthly performance reporting with full accountability.
- Actively participate in management meetings and take ownership for Finance related issues
- Be the focal point for all BMI related Finance issues and the ‘go to’ person for the BMI senior management team to resolve Finance queries.
- Ownership for the creation of budgets and forecasts, providing insight and detailed analysis.
- Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management on emerging issues
- Work with senior stakeholders to develop the financial assumptions and models which underpin new ideas and investment initiatives
- Gain a detailed understanding of key business performance metrics as they relate to client sales activities, contract values, discounts, product mix evolution and product profitability.
- Proactively seek ways to enhance, streamline, and automate existing processes
- Function as a reliable Business and Finance partner to the Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting.
- Working with senior stakeholders to influence major financial decisions.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- Fully Qualified Accountant.
- Previous experience in FP&A Roles with a desire to continue this development.
- Problem-solving abilities utilizing available resources effectively.
- Expertise in financial software applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, ERP systems and AI Tools.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
- Previous experience creating Financial Models and use of business intelligence tools.
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.
