Group Strategy Intern

Fitch Group Strategy is currently seeking an intern based out of our London office. The internship will start June 15th and run for 9 weeks.
Fitch Group Strategy assists the leadership team by providing relevant analysis and insights in support of decision-making. The team also acts as an internal consulting arm within Fitch Group, providing strategic advisory on a variety of areas across the organisation.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Assist with aspects of monthly and quarterly reporting for senior management.
- Utilize analytical tools to explore large datasets and identify patterns.
- Generate competitor profiles and analysis.
- Support other team members with project work as required – this may include desk-based research, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, market and competitive landscape assessments.
What You Need to Have:
- Students attending an accredited university, preferably working towards a degree in Finance, Economics, Business or similar analytical field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and ability to tackle complex problems in a structured manner
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- High level of focus on work quality and attention to detail
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Familiarity with Power BI or other BI software
- Experience using Open AI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, Meta Llama or similar LLM tools
- A proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Eagerness to learn and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively
