Fitch Group is currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner based out of our London office.  

 

A successful Senior HR Business Partner will provide expert HR guidance and delivery to enable business goals and objectives, including integrated talent evaluation, development, succession planning, organizational design, workforce planning, staffing, and compensation.  They will engage in a thoughtful, proactive, and strategic dialogue with their client groups and collaborate effectively with HR Product and Service Delivery partners.

 

In addition to their client responsibilities, as a member of the Fitch Group Global HR team the Senior HRBP will contribute to the wider HR strategy and culture ensuring objectives and ways-of-working are aligned.  They will be a mentor, partner, and a collaborative and productive colleague to their team, other teams in HR, and to key partner groups such as Legal, Finance, and Risk. 

 

The ideal candidate must be a global, enterprise level thinker with a successful track record in enabling organizational growth through HR products and services.  Candidates should demonstrate strong knowledge of strategic Human Resource Management practices as well as a robust understanding of labor legislation and its application across multiple jurisdictions.  Ideally, candidates will have held roles in different HR specialty areas (e.g., recruiting, talent, employee relations) and will have experience influencing and motivating those who are outside a direct reporting line.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Develop a thorough understanding of the business’ financial position, goals, objectives, deliverables, key business drivers and future trajectory to best align HR services and strategy. Understand our culture and the competition to determine workable solutions for the business and employees.
  • Act as the business leader’s Talent partner for all employee-related matters, including performance management, talent planning, succession, workforce/ headcount planning, mobility, organizational and change management initiatives.
  • Leverage timely, accurate and meaningful management reports and analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) to identify and anticipate workforce issues. Recommend strategies and approaches to addresses employee matters and impact the trends identified.
  • Work seamlessly with:
    • the Ratings Employee Experience HRBPs to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations, and guide managers and employees through legally sound performance management and corrective action processes.
    • the Talent Acquisition team to identify and recruit top talent, interviewing candidates when necessary, agreeing compensation, creating compelling employment packages, etc.
    • the Talent, Learning and Development team, helps develop and deliver talent and training solutions on a variety of technical and management topics.

 

What May Make You a Good Fit:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ professional HR experience, ideally gained in a Consulting, Financial Services or Professional Services business.
  • Experience of partnering with senior executives in a dynamic and fast changing environment through a thoughtful and constructive approach.
  • Direct experience in organizational transformation and change management.
  • Experience of working with global client groups.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and ideally a postgraduate HR or business management qualification.
