This role sits at the intersection of Marketing, data, and digital optimization to strengthen our marketing technology architecture, enhance platform performance, optimize integrations, strengthen data flows, and support our AI-enabled workflow strategy across the Marketing organization.
You will represent the needs and requirements of marketing employees across Fitch, understanding marketing workflows and how marketers succeed in reaching performance and brand objectives. Taking this input, you will partner closely with Marketing Shared Services, IT, Data, and Infrastructure teams to deliver solutions that enable scale, automation, and data integrity for Marketing to meet its objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, understands how marketing and technology intersect, and has experience collaborating across functional boundaries to build future-ready systems.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Support the ongoing optimization of our core platforms (Marketo, SiteSpect, ON24, Splash, Hotjar and integrations with Salesforce).
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and assist with configuration, audits, and enhancements.
- Maintain governance documentation, standard operating procedures, and process maps.
- Assist in maintaining clean, reliable, and well-governed data pipelines across the Marketing ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data sync issues between marketing platforms and Salesforce.
- Support the integration of offline, events-based, and external datasets into marketing systems.
- Ensure smooth data ingestion into analytics/reporting environments (Power BI, Adobe Customer Journey Analytics, etc.).
- Work with the AI Team to identify opportunities to embed AI and ML capabilities across the Marketing stack (e.g., enrichment, workflow automation, routing logic, data cleansing).
- Partner with IT, Data, Infrastructure, and InfoSec teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with enterprise standards and security requirements.
- Conduct audits to identify redundancy, underutilized platforms, and workflow inefficiencies.
- Assist in preparing business cases for optimization decisions, vendor evaluations, and potential migrations.
- Support proof-of-concept testing for emerging technologies that fit Fitch's future-ready roadmap.
- Maintain data hygiene through regular audits, duplication, and validation checks.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, and Product teams to enable seamless use of marketing technology platforms
You May be a Good Fit if:
- 3–5+ years' experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, or a related operations or technical role within a Marketing function.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Data and/or Technology teams to solve complex problems and deliver integrated solutions.
- Working knowledge of Marketo (or similar automation platforms) and integrations with Salesforce.
- Experience managing data flows, APIs, sync logic, and marketing–sales system connectivity.
- Familiarity with modern marketing technology stacks (CDPs, attribution models, reporting platforms, events/webinar platforms).
- Exposure to AI capabilities, automation workflows, or ML-enhanced processes preferred.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into scalable workflows.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across functional teams, particularly with technical stakeholders.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Experience with SQL, JSON, API logs, or data troubleshooting.
- Exposure with AI agents and implementation of Agentic workflow within Marketing.
- Knowledge of customer journey analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe CJA, Power BI).
- Hands-on experience with Marketo operational programs (data hygiene, routing, attribution, scoring).
- Understanding of data governance and privacy frameworks.
- Exposure to enterprise IT processes, AI Councils, InfoSec reviews, or system implementation projects.
