Sr MRA / Market Research Associate- BRM (Mexico City)
Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Market Research Associate (BRM) based out of our Mexico City office.
To efficiently support the day-to-day of the Business and Relationship Management sub-segment with professionalism and under modest supervision. To be able to maintain operations of the department in the absence of the immediate supervisor, either with remote supervision/instructions or requesting guidance from another senior manager; communicate with senior management/executives; perform duties of more complexity requiring independent judgment; understand company policies and procedures and the importance of trust, confidentiality and accuracy.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Prepare new proposals and amendments of existing commercial relationships
- Initiate follow-up action with banker, investor, structurer or issuer
- Research, filter and prepare target lists for specific sectors in coordination with the BRM professional responsible for that sector.
- Establish and maintain documents and records in appropriate files
- Elaborate periodic reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint (statistics/management information) besides using AI tools to be able to criticize the data.
- Inform technical staff (local and international) of new transactions, co-ordinate and inform ADM and Accounting, file documents and contracts
- Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of department attendance records
- With adequate coaching, represent Fitch Ratings and BRM in external events or in meetings when principal is not available
- Maintain databases, logs and minutes as appropriate for department
- Provide customer service (internal and external)
- Maintain department calendar, schedule meetings and conference calls, and coordinate as needed with Conference Center
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
- Together with Administrative Assistant coordinate and prepare events and conferences
What You Need to Have:
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- University degree or final year of university, with or without relevant work experience
- Good command of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Knowledge of AI tools
- Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interface at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability and willingness to learn new tasks and software as required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with supervising personnel, coworkers and business professionals
- Ability to recognize and suggest solutions to problems arising from day-to-day activities of the group
- Ability to project a positive, concerned image to external parties and coworkers
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Thorough knowledge of business Spanish
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
- Basic expertise in Financial Markets is a plus.
