About the Team

The Associate Director, Employee Recognition Programs is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of initiatives that celebrate and reward our employees' contributions, fostering a culture of appreciation and engagement. Reporting to the Managing Director of Employee Communications, this role is critical in enhancing employee satisfaction and retention across Fitch Group. About the team 

The Employee Communications team ensures that employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's goals by developing clear communication plans and messaging and utilizing a variety of digital and human channels to effectively reach employees. By creating engaging content that resonates, including stories of achievements and company milestones, we keep employees connected to the organization's mission. Employee Recognition Programs will be a new capability; celebrating successes will inspire outstanding contributions that align with the company's objectives.  

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Program Development: Design and execute innovative employee recognition programs that align with Fitch Group’s values and business objectives and complement and reinforce our people and culture strategic goals. This requires research to understand recognition best practices and creating program guidelines, rewards criteria, and milestones that complement and reinforce our people and culture strategic goals. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships and collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and department heads to gather insights and tailor recognition programs that address diverse employee needs across different functions and regions. Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure stakeholder buy-in and integration of program objectives with organizational goals. 
  • Implementation & Management: Develop a detailed project plan for the rollout of recognition initiatives and events, coordinating logistics, resources, and timelines to ensure seamless execution. Establish a sustainable model that allows adaptation and scalability across all departments and regions, maintaining consistency in recognition principles while accommodating local nuances.  
  • Evaluation & Reporting: Create a framework for measuring program effectiveness by setting key performance indicators (KPIs) and utilizing data analytics tools to track participation rates, employee satisfaction, and impact on retention. Compile reports with insights and actionable recommendations for program enhancements and present findings to senior management. 
  • Program Communications: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive communication plan to raise awareness and boost participation in recognition programs. Utilize various channels such as internal newsletters, intranet, social media, and employee meetings to disseminate information and engage employees. Craft compelling messages and stories that highlight successes and foster a culture of appreciation. 
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee budgets for employee recognition initiatives, ensuring all programs are cost-effective without compromising quality. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adjust financial plans to stay within budget constraints. Provide regular budget reports and forecasts to the Managing Director of Employee Communications and Chief Human Resources Officer. 

 

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • Proven experience in designing and managing employee recognition or engagement programs, preferably within a global organization. 
  • 5-7 years of related experience 
  • Undergraduate degree required 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to work self-reliantly and effectively plan, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, often while operating in ambiguity. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, persuade, and engage employees at all levels. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze program metrics and derive actionable insights. 
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative solutions to engage and motivate employees. 
  • Experience with digital tools and platforms for employee engagement and recognition.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $125,000 and $145,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
