Fitch Solutions Data Products & Services Tribe is seeking an Associate Technical Product Owner for our New York City office.

About the Team:
The Data Products & Services Tribe drives the development and management of both legacy and new data products aligned with Fitch Ratings and Fitch Solutions’ strategic vision. Our mission is to deliver AI-ready, high-quality data products that provide instant access, robust data mastering, and enhanced value for our clients. How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Develop Technical Product Knowledge: Build deep expertise in Fitch’s data products, underlying architecture, and integration points to effectively support technical delivery and client needs.
- Provide Direction & Hands-on Support: Offer overall guidance to the product team on technical priorities, while remaining ready to step in and perform first-level analysis and triage during production issues to minimize impact and expedite resolution.
- Support Technical Strategy Execution: Contribute to shaping and communicating the technical aspects of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with engineering and infrastructure priorities.
- Backlog & Feature Management: Assist in translating business and technical requirements into clear user stories. Help prioritize features based on technical feasibility, system dependencies, and business impact.
- Cross-functional Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to ensure smooth delivery and technical alignment across stakeholders.
- Technical Delivery Assistance: Work hands-on with engineering teams to resolve delivery challenges, validate functionality through technical user acceptance testing, and support monitoring and alerting for production systems.
- Performance Tracking: Help monitor technical KPIs such as system reliability, latency, and error rates, and assist in identifying areas for optimization.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to technical documentation (integration guides, FAQs) and support demos or training for internal teams.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- 2+ years of relevant experience in financial services or related domain
- Familiarity with Agile principles and experience working in Agile teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences
- 2+ years of product development or management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with JIRA is a plus

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $120,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
