Fitch Solutions is seeking an Sr. Account Manager to cover our Institutional North American clients based out of our New York office.

In this high-profile sales role, you will be part of the Americas Account Management team responsible for sales and account management for Fitch Solutions across your book of regional clients.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Research and prospect for growth opportunities within Fitch Solutions that include:
  • Credit Research and Ratings Data Services
  • Credit Risk Solutions
  • Industry and Country Macro Research and Data
  • Sustainability Across Securities, Entities, and Countries
  • Be responsible for managing the full renewal process, including:
  • Leading and overseeing contract negotiations
  • Ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals while maintaining strong client relationships
  • Directing end to end relationship management across the firm to drive engagement of all products through strategic relationship building, and coordinating with Customer Success Managers, Client Services, and Specialists.
  • Engage in routine territory and account planning, using available data to develop informed strategies.

 

What You Need to Have:

  • General knowledge of financial services and capital markets with a focus on fixed income

preferred.

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field, laying the educational foundation for excellence in financial markets.
  • It is essential that you have 3+ sales/business development experience within the financial services industry. 
  • A proven track record in developing business and growing revenue streams with Institutional clients.
  • Ability to develop an extensive network of contacts across your accounts at the senior executive level, procurement level, and user level.  
  • You must be self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity and perseverance
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • A diligent work ethic with a results-drive attitude
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint a plus)
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills are essential
  • Travel: 20% Travel
  • We currently operate within a hybrid work environment, with 3 days required in office.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 – $155,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
