Fitch Solutions is currently seeking a Director, Product Lifecycle Program Lead, based out of our New York office.
Fitch Solutions is seeking a Product Lifecycle Program Lead for Product development support, pricing & packaging changes, and coordination on key commercial initiatives.
This role is accountable for maintaining the Product development Workflow standards and supporting materials. They are the lead facilitator in Product Development governance such as ensuring all Product Managers are suitably prepared for the QBR and facilitating that event.
They are accountable for the knowledge and understanding within the organization on the Product delivery workflow, covering communications and training.
They are the central point for Product management metrics, structuring and sharing holistic reports and updates.
The focus is on providing transparency on the portfolio of Product Managers’ delivery pipelines and hold them to account against value return.
In the short term, while our Product Management workflow is being developed the role will have responsibilities to connect the Business strategy, Product, Pricing & Packaging and Commercial functions to create and manage product launch plans to enable transparent and coordinated implementation.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Outcomes & Launch Discipline
- Maintain and audit the Product delivery lifecycle process Co-own launch dates with Product, ensuring that launch timelines reflect delivery progress, viability, and GTM readiness.
- Provide end-to-end visibility of all active GTM Product Delivery and maintain a consistent, reusable framework from concept to implementation.
Product Management & Planning
- Prior to this being passed to Product Management, the role will create product launch plans that include workstreams, deliverables and dependencies by aggregating information from roadmaps, release schedules and pricing.
- Prior to a forthcoming Product Management workflow, the role will manage the Go To Market plans for new product launches, coordinating tasks, timelines, and RAID facilitation, holding a central plan for all parties to work towards.
- Maintain the framework and workflow for Product Development from concept though discovery and delivery to customer implementation and operational feedback. Ensure that the framework is understood, followed and iterated on to improve the customer centric decision making between Product, Strategic Pricing, Commercial, UX and Operations.
- Ensure that product roadmaps are correctly supported by Pricing / Packaging and have well defined implementation plans covering customer engagement, training, Client Services and Marketing.
- Ensure the Product management artefacts for effective QBR governance and all aspects of Product Management workflow are correctly populated / submitted and that delivery commitments from Product Managers are upheld and that the regular reporting on delivery progress is correct and suitably shared.
Readiness, Decision Rights & Governance
- Clarify and document roles and responsibilities including RACI and decision rights across Product, Strategic Pricing, Commercial, UX and Operations, and ensure issues have clear decision owners.
- Schedule and facilitate launch readiness reviews, track and ensure ownership of action items, and document go/no-go decisions agreed by Product, Strategic Pricing, and Commercial leadership.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the operational liaison between Product, Technology (including UX) and Commercial leadership, turning agreed goals and priorities into concrete plans, timelines, and cross-functional workstreams.
- Maintain cross-functional visibility and communication through concise dashboards, status reports, and stakeholder updates that highlight progress, risks, and required decisions.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- 10+ years of experience in product management, product marketing, commercial operations, or program management roles.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a B2B, media, or tech environment.
- Familiarity with product launch cycles, agile product development, UX and sales enablement processes.
- Understanding of commercial operations, marketing communications, and product lifecycles.
- Exceptional product and project management and organization skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to streamline GTM workflows — from automating launch communications to analyzing market feedback and optimizing campaign performance.
- Hands-on expertise in using product and project management and collaboration tools — ideally with automation or AI integrations that improve team productivity.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $165,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
