How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency, supporting Fitch's commitment to innovation and optimizing resource utilization for enhanced productivity.
  • Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripts, and orchestration tools to ensure seamless service delivery and uninterrupted access for users and clients, supporting Fitch's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in Linux and Windows operating systems, as well as EKS environments, to maintain optimal system performance and reliability, supporting Fitch's objective of delivering seamless and trustworthy service to clients.
  • Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripts, and orchestration tools while diagnosing and resolving issues in Linux, Windows operating systems, and EKS environments to ensure seamless service delivery, uninterrupted access, and optimal system performance, supporting Fitch's commitment to operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Implement and configure enterprise-scale monitoring of applications and infrastructure using DataDog to ensure proactive issue detection and rapid response, aligning with Fitch's goal of maintaining high service reliability and minimizing operational disruptions.
  • Manage and optimize backups in AWS and Azure to ensure data integrity and security, and Participate in Business Continuity tests to reinforce Fitch's commitment to resilience and uninterrupted operations.
  • Manage Zscaler solutions to enhance network security and ensure secure access to resources, aligning with Fitch's goal of safeguarding data and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures across the organization.

You May be a Good Fit if:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical Discipline preferred.

  • 4+ years of experience Troubleshooting Windows and Linux servers.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and alerting tools such as Datadog, Zabbix, or others.
  • Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Handson experience with configuration tools such as Ansible
  • Handson experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform
  • Handson experience with a programing language such as Python.
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud.
  • Experience in troubleshooting common network issues (DNS, firewalls, load balancers).
  • Familiar with orchestration tools. 

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

  • Handson experience with containers via ECS or EC2 in AWS
  • Demonstrated success in managing tools and services with Terraform.
  • Automated manual processes via using scripts in Python or Java.
  • AWS Cloud Solutions Architect or Sys Ops Certification
  • Terraform Associate Certification
  • Proven experience in utilizing AWS Cloud APIs through scripting to Manage Infrastructure.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between 85,000 and 110,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
