This exciting role provides an opportunity to work directly with senior team members in Fitch’s Global Funds & Asset Managers (FAM) Group. The group interacts with market participants to generate business opportunities across a variety of fund structures, mainly in private equity/credit markets.

Fitch’s FAM group has grown extensively in recent years and the candidate will be responsible for several tasks critical to managing a large deal pipeline. Exceptional data management skills are essential to succeed in this role, as you will have direct responsibility for tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records for a high volume of transactions. This will include direct responsibility for tasks related to data management involving commercial agreements, invoicing and revenue reporting. You will play a key role in ensuring deals are invoiced accurately and on time, with direct accountability to senior management.

The candidate will support the senior team in expanding relationships with fund managers, lenders, and investors to originate new mandates through targeted outreach and client engagement.

If you are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role offers the opportunity to develop market-facing skills in the private funds industry and grow your career in relationship management.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work within a fast-paced team in a rapidly expanding market segment.
  • Collaboration on global projects, working with global members of an inclusive, diverse and supportive team.
  • The opportunity to participate and further grow into market facing activities, joining the senior team in frequent interaction with bankers, investors, and fund managers across public and private markets.
  • The opportunity to develop your business management, research, marketing and presentation skills.
  • Direct involvement in revenue-critical functions for a team with high visibility from senior management.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Track, organize, and maintain a comprehensive and accurate database of current and prospective deals/transactions, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Keep track of data related to current and prospective deals, coordinating closely with Fitch’s finance team to ensure proper and timely invoicing. Prepare summaries related to business growth, revenue growth, and prospective deals at a moment’s notice for senior management.
  • Coordinate with Fitch’s finance team to process associated billing and ensure proper revenue management. This area is critical and will have high visibility directly from senior management.
  • Manage and organize data within MS Excel and other tools/dashboards to ensure accuracy and consistency. Assist in creating and maintaining templates for recurring reports to senior management.
  • Prepare commercial agreement documents, proactively monitor deal status and follow up with internal and external stakeholders to move opportunities forward.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, taking detailed notes and maintaining data in internal systems at the direction of senior BRMs.
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance the efficiency of data and revenue management.

What You Need to Have:

  • Relevant university degree, preferably in a business, finance, economics, data analytics, or related field.
  • Exceptional skills directly related to data management, accounting and invoicing/revenue management. Proven experience managing transaction pipelines and accounting/revenue management is preferred. High attention to detail is required.
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g., lookups/index/pivot tables/macros/shortcuts) with ability to organize and manage large volumes of information and use this to generate summary reports for senior management, often on short notice.
  • Self-starter with strong time management and advanced organizational skills.
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills to prepare presentations for senior management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deal-driven work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with key internal/external stakeholders, and the desire to grow into a market-facing role over time.
  • Candidate should be a proactive “self-starter” who is comfortable with direct responsibility for critical tasks and accountability to the senior team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing demands and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Familiarity with private equity/credit markets and/or experience in the funds industry
