CreditSights is currently seeking a full-time US Financial Institutions Senior Analyst based out of our New York office.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Lead the US Financials research team in conducting fundamental credit analysis of the US Financials sector.
  • Publish frequently on a portfolio of credits and market themes.
  • Have a deep understanding of the US and global regulatory frameworks, and the implications of those for investing in the sector.
  • Meet current and prospective clients to discuss and to market CreditSights’ research, in conjunction with our sales team.
  • Collaborate with a market-leading Credit Strategy team on sector-level and market themes and views.
  • Manage and train junior research analysts.
  • Interact with colleagues in our London and Singapore offices on research topics to establish common views on the market outlook and sectoral views.

 

 What You Need to Have:

  • At least 10 years’ experience conducting credit research related to the US Financials sector. A record of previous publications is preferred.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to write clearly, quickly and prolifically. 
  • A record of extensive issuer and investor interaction.
  • Ability to multi-task, with a strong work ethic.
  • Undergraduate / post graduate degree. CFA designation seen favorably.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rate for the role will be around $225,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
