Associate Director, Business Relationship Management (BRM) EMEA Financial Institutions (FI) – Arabic Speaker

Fitch Ratings’ FI BRM team is currently seeking an Associate Director out of our Saudi Office at Riyadh City.

This exciting role is based within the Financial Institutions (FI) Business Relationship Management (“BRM”) group in Riyadh, reporting to the Head of FI, Middle East. The principal objective of the team is to originate new rating mandates and to manage and expand relationships with the FI team mainly in the Middle East issuers and the wider FI group.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Generate new mandates, initially with a focus on Saudi and the Middle East.
  • Support business growth across the broader EMEA region.
  • Analyze the market to identify new prospects and proactively interact with new issuers and other internal and external stakeholders in all stages of the onboarding process.
  • Develop persuasive pitchbooks and business development materials as well as generate new ideas for marketing to support outreach efforts.
  • Organize and conduct client and other external meetings.
  • Participate in and sometimes lead broader EMEA FI team projects.
  • Represent Fitch at industry events and conferences.
  • Build relationships and expand your network of capital markets professionals.
  • Use the Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce) to record outreach activity, manage opportunities, create agreements and manage renewals.    
  • Be organized, detail-oriented, punctual with tasks, enthusiastic, and proactive with a high level of initiative and an ability to conduct a variety of tasks simultaneously.

 

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Arabic speaker is a must, excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • A curious mindset, good work ethic and great attention to detail.
  • An ability to build business relationships and consistently grow your network of contacts.
  • Be a keen team player, but also with an ability to work independently.
  • Strong sales background in the financial sector 
  • Strong technical command of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience in financial services, banking, debt capital markets, or a Credit Ratings Agency environment.
  • Experience in and familiarity with the financial institutions
  • Proven trajectory of working with clients and the debt-capital markets community, with the capability to proactively coordinate with external / internal parties.
  • Experience with SalesForce (or other Customer Relationship Management systems) and financial data and analytics platforms including Bloomberg and FactSet.
  • Other professional or business qualifications (MBA, or relevant Master’s degree).
