Market Research Associate, Business Relationship Management, Shanghai (6 months' Contract)

Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Market Research Associate, Business Relationship Management (BRM) based out of our Shanghai/ Hong Kong office.

About the Team

The APAC Business Relationship Management (BRM) division provides tactical marketing and business development support across all Fitch Ratings product groups. The team manages issuer marketing, banker and arranger outreach, and Fitch’s visibility and positioning across Asia Pacific.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you will support the BRM team on daily operations and report to the APAC Structured Finance Business Head. Your key responsibilities include:

• Support regional management reporting requirements and provide backup coverage when needed.
• Assist with daily operations: KYC preparation, commercial documentation, and Salesforce updates.
• Maintain and track deal flows; prepare monthly activity and issuer coverage reports.
• Coordinate billing activities, track overdue invoices, and communicate with Accounts to ensure timely payments.
• Assist originators in preparing marketing materials (generic pitch books, customized decks, case studies, CRA award pitch books).
• Support outreach initiatives including conferences, seminars, one‑on‑one meetings, electronic communication, and analyst meetings.

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have:

• A university degree in business, finance, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
