Fitch Learning is seeking a Client Relationship Manager, Sales to join our Canada Sales team. This strategic role is pivotal in shaping and expanding our client base, with a strong emphasis on sales, business development, product strategy, and in-depth financial services expertise. The ideal candidate will proactively identify and qualify client prospects, develop new client relationships, drive sales growth, and collaboratively design impactful learning solutions.

Drive business growth at Fitch Learning as a dynamic sales professional who will proactively find, qualify, and develop strategic client relationships, and lead complex sales cycles for our premier financial training solutions. Collaborate with global stakeholders to identify sales opportunities, provide tailored guidance to senior-level clients, and transform prospects into long-term partnerships in the financial services sector. This influential position offers you the opportunity to drive sales and make a significant impact across our markets. Requires travel approximately 20% to 40% of your time.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Sales and Business Development

• Own a hunter sales motion focused on net-new logos and strategic expansion within financial services organizations.

• Proactively prospect, qualify, and engage executive stakeholders using a consultative, outcomes-driven approach; diagnose priorities and position holistic solutions that deliver measurable ROI.

• Build new accounts through targeted client outreach, market mapping, and effective networking; convert opportunities to sales revenue by leading multi-stakeholder, complex deal cycles end-to-end.

• Expand existing accounts by deepening relationships, aligning to client roadmaps, and executing cross-sell and upsell strategies to drive sales.

• Maintain rigorous pipeline management and Salesforce hygiene; produce accurate, defensible revenue forecasts based on activity and stage progression.

• Lead pricing and commercial negotiations; oversee legal contracts for clients and contractors.

• Transition closed-won projects to program management for delivery while retaining commercial oversight and senior relationship ownership.

 

Product Strategy

• Identify and pursue new market sales opportunities and niche segments; inform and refine product offerings based on client feedback and market intelligence.

• Apply deep knowledge of Canadian and global financial markets, products, and client operating environments to drive sales and shape new programs and strengthen existing client portfolios.

• Ensure solutions stay relevant to evolving client needs; partner on credential pathways, certificates, and content updates (including translations).

• Contribute to pricing strategy and product budget allocation; provide data-backed recommendations.

• Partner with Marketing to develop high-impact sales collateral and campaigns; support go-to-market for new product launches.

• Leverage Fitch Learning’s courses, eLearning, and certifications to continually deepen your own market expertise to drive sales.

 

You May be a Good Fit if:

• Director: 10+ years of direct B2B sales experience, with a proven hunter sales track record in financial services.

• Manager: 6+ years of direct B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success building and closing new business in financial services.

• 5+ years of experience in a relevant functional area such as financial services, corporate credit, wealth management, risk, or financial consulting.

• Strong background in sales, business development within the Canadian financial services or financial education sector. • Experience developing client strategies and selling learning solutions.

• Excellent communication, executive presence, and relationship management; consultative selling skills to drive sales.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify, prioritize, and execute growth opportunities to drive sales.

 

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

• Deep, practitioner-level knowledge of Canadian financial markets and credit, with the credibility to sell to senior decision-makers (C-suite, Heads of L&D, Chief Learning Officer, Risk, Credit, Wealth & Investment Management, Consumer) 

• Experience in financial education and learning solution sales.

 • Proven experience identifying client learning needs and driving sales to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

• Strong consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

• Proven ability to succeed in a small, agile team environment and drive sales to meet client needs.
