Fitch Learning is currently seeking a Senior Learning Partner, Commercial Credit & Lending (Director) based out of our Austin office.

 

About the Team:

You’ll join a high-visibility, client-facing team that partners closely with Client Relationship Sales, product development, implementation, and marketing to deliver impactful, credit-focused learning solutions across North America.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

Client Partnership and Solution Support

  • Partner with the Client Relationship Sales team to understand client learning needs and provide subject matter expertise across credit and lending topics
  • Contribute to client discussions by bringing insight into business, commercial, and corporate lending capability needs
  • Help shape relevant learning recommendations and support the development of tailored client solutions
  • Act as a trusted internal advisor on credit and lending-related opportunities
  • Support presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal development where credit subject matter expertise is required

Customer Success and Client Engagement

  • Understand and articulate customer learning goals and desired outcomes from the delivery of our solutions
  • Work closely with Fitch Learning sales, product, and implementation teams to help ensure delivery aligns with customer expectations
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and support discussions around delivery performance, impact, and effectiveness
  • Contribute to ongoing client engagement by identifying evolving learning needs and opportunities for continued partnership
  • Create and/or support data-driven insight reports that help demonstrate customer success

Solution Development and Implementation Support

  • Serve as a bridge between client needs and internal product, implementation, and delivery teams
  • Support the transition from client discussions through implementation, as appropriate
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to solution design, customization, and credit/lending-focused development projects
  • Act as a sponsor and/or subject matter expert for client-driven development initiatives
  • Support implementation activities where solutions or rollouts are especially complex

Communication, Reporting and Thought Leadership

  • Collaborate with colleagues across Fitch Learning to share client insight, market needs, and solution feedback
  • Represent Fitch Learning in webinars, industry events, trade shows, and other client-facing activities as needed
  • Contribute to thought leadership content on credit, lending, and related market topics

 

You May Be a Good Fit If You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in credit, commercial lending, corporate banking, business banking, or financial services consulting, with direct exposure to Business Banking, Commercial Banking, and/or Corporate Lending
  • Strong credit knowledge, including familiarity with lending products, credit analysis, underwriting concepts, borrower assessment, and the broader commercial and corporate lending environment
  • Experience working in a client-facing, consultative role, supporting solution design, proposal development, and senior stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to support enterprise sales cycles and customer success activities
  • Experience with learning solution delivery, training, or capability development in financial services environments is preferred
  • Familiarity with eLearning, blended learning, coaching solutions, LMS/LXP platforms, and data-driven reporting is beneficial
  • Willingness to travel 5–10% for client meetings, events, and conferences

 

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Prior experience in commercial lending, corporate banking, credit training, lending advisory, or financial services consulting
  • Experience as a Learning Partner, Pre-Sales Consultant, Solutions Consultant, or Sales Engineer within financial services training
  • Strong understanding of credit and lending workflows, client challenges, and capability gaps across business, commercial, and corporate banking environments
  • Expertise authoring thought leadership articles, whitepapers, and presenting at industry events, webinars, and trade shows
  • Strong consultative communication skills and the ability to mentor generalist Learning Partners and sales colleagues
  • Comfort navigating complex organizations, building internal champions, and coordinating cross-functional delivery
