The Chief Data Office (CDO) is currently seeking a Senior Associate based out of our London office to work in the Business Intelligence field.

 

The Chief Data Office (CDO) is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Enterprise Data & Analytics team in our London office.

The Enterprise Data & Analytics team reports to the Chief Data Officer and supports decision-making across Fitch Group through insights, analytics and data-driven solutions. The team operates globally, with colleagues in London and New York, and develops solutions that help business units drive revenue growth, product innovation, productivity gains and stronger business performance.

This role will focus primarily on supporting Fitch Solutions. It is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to further develop their analytics career in a high-impact, business-facing environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring that we have the right data, visualisations, insights and analytics to support business growth.

We’ll Count on You To:

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to prepare and structure data for reporting and analysis.
  • Build and enhance intuitive self-service dashboards and reports with relevant KPIs and actionable insights.
  • Partner with Fitch Solutions teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Analyse large and complex datasets from multiple disparate sources to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
  • Present findings through clear visualisations and compelling data storytelling that support business decision-making.
  • Explore opportunities to apply predictive analytics and machine learning techniques to generate deeper insights and enhance decision-making.
  • Contribute to improving data quality, consistency and governance across reporting outputs.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed.

 

What You Need to Have:

  • Experience with a business intelligence tool such as Qlik or Power BI.
  • Experience extracting, transforming and modelling data for reporting and analytics.
  • Foundational SQL skills and the ability to work with structured datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data from multiple sources.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong interest in data and a willingness to learn.

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Experience designing dashboards and visualisations that support self-service reporting and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics, forecasting, data science or machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with working with AI for agentic use cases or conversational analytics.
  • Familiarity with languages such as Python or other.
  • Experience working with financial, commercial or product usage data.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and actionable recommendations.
  • Financial services or business information industry experience would be a plus.
