About the Team
Reporting into the Finance organization, this position will support various functions, including the Chief Data Office (CDO) and work closely with the Procurement Operations team. In this role you will be responsible for providing service delivery for Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Budgeting, Research, Reporting, and Invoice Processing. Additionally, you will support any future technology implementations that enable an efficient and streamlined Procure to Pay processes associated with these tasks
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Drive the implementation and adoption of our procurement process to create efficiency for 3rd Party purchases.
- Support structure and use of PO as a mechanism to streamline payment process. Partner with accounts payable to streamline the Procure to Pay process.
- Obtain deep knowledge of business needs and recommend continuous improvement around procurement processes and systems.
- Provide support to CDO and Finance during the annual budgeting process and monthly spend reviews.
- Act as a liaison between Procurement and Accounts Payable
- Develop working knowledge of the Contract Management System to assist with invoice research and appropriate cost allocations.
You May be a Good Fit if:
- You have at least 3 years of Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Budgeting, and Invoice Processing.
- Excellent financial analysis skills with a high attention to detail
- Knowledge of market data suppliers (i.e. Bloomberg, FactSet, Refinitiv), Data feeds/back and front office, Data license agreements, Terminal contracts/commercials,
- Experience working with cost allocations and budget management
- Familiar with Requisition Processes.
- Excellent internal relationship building skills – your ability to partner with other parts of the organization will be critical to your success.
- Strong customer service skills. Technical knowledge of systems such as SAP (ECC) preferred.
- Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as work in a team-orientated and fast paced environment.
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Experience within procurement in a financial services firm would be a plus
- System experience in ERP tools such as Oracle.
- Strong understanding of Procurement processes, focusing specifically on Procure to Pay and overall knowledge of the entire Source to Pay process.
- Comfortable with presenting information, projects, reports etc. to upper-level management.
- Familiar with iValua Contract Management system or equivalent
