BRM - Revenue Enablement (Fitch Ratings) is currently seeking a Junior Business Analyst based out of our London office.

BRM's global Revenue Enablement Team is tasked with ensuring that Fitch Ratings' Business & Relationship Management team (BRM) has the right resources, messaging, content, and tools in place to work more effectively. The team seeks to improve BRM's ability to spend more time on revenue and value-generating activities and less time on admin-related tasks, with a focus on process improvement, technology adoption, reporting, content, training, and stakeholder communications.

We're looking for a Junior Business Analyst to support the bridge between BRM teams and technical delivery groups. This position will support multiple sectors across BRM. In this role, you will develop strong subject matter knowledge across these business areas while supporting requirements gathering, documentation, project coordination, testing, and stakeholder communication. You will help translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation so that technical teams can deliver practical enhancements. Partnering with BRM colleagues, development teams, QA, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders, you will support platform improvements that reduce administrative burden and help BRM teams work more effectively.

What We Offer:

  • Great Development Opportunity: Build your business analysis skills in a role that combines requirements gathering, process improvement, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • High Visibility: Work with BRM teams and technical delivery groups on enhancements that support revenue enablement, operational efficiency, and better user experiences.
  • Amazing Team: Collaborate with commercial and technology stakeholders across multiple organizational levels in a supportive, fast-paced environment
  • Great Benefits: Fitch Group is committed to providing a competitive benefits package, reflecting our appreciation for the hard work and dedication of our employees.

We'll Count on You To:

Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Support the gathering and documentation of business requirements across multiple BRM sectors. Participate in stakeholder discussions, discovery sessions, and workshops to understand business needs, capture key points, and help turn them into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and supporting documentation. Work with senior colleagues, stakeholders, and technical teams to validate requirements and confirm next steps.

Project Coordination & Delivery Support: Assist with the coordination of projects, enhancements, and change requests from discovery through delivery. Help maintain Jira tickets, timelines, documentation, actions, and status updates. Follow up with stakeholders and technical teams to clarify requirements, track progress, support issue resolution, and escalate blockers where appropriate.

Stakeholder Communication: Build strong working relationships with BRM teams, technology teams, and other stakeholders. Provide clear updates on assigned workstreams, ask questions to understand business priorities, support stakeholder walkthroughs or demos, and help ensure users are prepared for testing, feedback, and upcoming changes.

Process Improvement & Learning: Support the identification of process improvements, platform enhancements, and opportunities to make day-to-day work easier for BRM teams. Contribute to documentation templates, process notes, knowledge sharing, and lessons learned while continuing to build your understanding of BRM processes, systems, and ways of working.

What You Need to Have:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, Business Support Analyst, or similar role, preferably in financial services, fintech, technology, or a commercial environment
  • Some exposure to gathering, documenting, or supporting business requirements for technology, process, reporting, or operational improvements
  • Exposure to, or interest in, Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, requirements documentation tools such as Confluence and Jira
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Forms
  • Interest in financial services business processes and willingness to build subject matter knowledge across multiple sectors
  • Ability to explain information clearly and ask questions to improve understanding
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in learning how to communicate between business and technical teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders, ask questions, follow up, and escalate where support is needed
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to build relationships and learn from others

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience developing or working with AI tools
  • Experience supporting workshops, demos, UAT sessions, or stakeholder walkthroughs
  • Willingness to develop subject matter expertise across multiple BRM sectors and business processes
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience creating process flows, wireframes, and technical specifications
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Examples of helping improve processes, documentation, communication, or delivery tracking
  • Ability to support alignment across teams through clear communication, follow-up, and attention to detail
  • Empathy for understanding pressure points for both business and technical teams
