Fitch Group is currently seeking a Product Associate based out of our London office.

As a leading, global financial information services provider, Fitch Group delivers vital credit and risk insights, robust data, and dynamic tools to champion more efficient, transparent financial markets. With over 100 years of experience and colleagues in over 30 countries, Fitch Group’s culture of credibility, independence, and transparency is embedded throughout its structure, which includes Fitch Ratings, one of the world’s top three credit ratings agencies, and Fitch Solutions, a leading provider of insights, data and analytics. With dual headquarters in London and New York, Fitch Group is owned by Hearst.

We’re looking for a Product Associate to drive outcomes across a set of evolving delivery channels — starting with Feeds and Excel Add‑ins, then rotating through other areas within the STS umbrella. This is a hands‑on role for someone who loves product discovery, user‑centric design, and measurable delivery — bringing transferable skills to varied problem spaces.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful scope: Own problem discovery and outcome delivery across multiple channels; your work will be visible and impactful.
  • AI enabled ways of working: Use and help refine AI tools for research, workflow automation, backlog hygiene and transparent decision making.
  • Autonomy and support: Work with a cross functional squad, with coaching, peer reviews, and shared practices for continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Own the discovery, prioritization, and iterative delivery of value across product areas: starting with Feeds and Add ins, ensuring our solutions are intuitive, reliable, and seamlessly embedded in customer workflows.
  • Product discovery and definition: Frame problems, validate opportunities, and translate insights into hypotheses, outcomes, and backlog items.
  • Feeds and Excel Add-ins: Shape roadmaps and releases that improve user experience for clients using Feeds and Excel-based tooling.
  • AI in the product lifecycle: Use AI for discovery, delivery and operations while championing responsible use.
  • Maintain the backlog: Keep items clear and value-focused; define acceptance criteria and success metrics; participate in refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Align around outcomes; communicate trade-offs; support timely delivery to consuming channels.
  • Measure and learn: Track usage, adoption, performance, and satisfaction; provide evidence to inform iteration.

You May be a Good Fit if:

  • 3-5 years of experience in FinTech or financial services field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (LOOKUPs, pivot tables, conditional logic)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
  • A detailed approach to problem solving, and an analytical mindset with experience using data to diagnose problems and inform prioritization.
  • Comfort working on and delivering multiple projects concurrently, while remaining responsive to changing conditions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering

What Would Make You Stand Out:

  • Familiarity with Excel Add-ins and the user journeys.
  • Exposure to feeds and/or cloud platforms.
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence or any other Agile development framework.
  • Understanding of AI-assisted product practices (prompting, summarization, test generation) and responsible-use guidelines

How We Work:

  • Collaborative environment with regular ceremonies (planning, refinement, reviews, retros) and clear outcome ownership.
  • Continuous learning: Dedicated time for research spikes, experimentation, and sharing best practices across squads.
  • Inclusive culture: We value diverse perspectives and create space for everyone to contribute.

Why This Role Is Exciting:

  • You’ll rotate across product areas, building a portfolio of experiences that compounds your skills and career trajectory.
  • You’ll be part of a team pushing the frontier of AI in product management: designing AI-enabled workflows, measuring impact rigorously, and setting the standards for responsible, high-performance adoption across the organisation.

Why Choose Fitch:

  • Hybrid Work Environment: 2 days a week in office required based on your line of business and location
  • A Culture of Learning & Mobility: Dedicated trainings, leadership development and mentorship programs designed to ensure that your time at Fitch will be a continuous learning opportunity
