Fitch Group is currently seeking a Tax Technology & Reporting Manager - Senior Associate Director based out of our London (Canary Wharf) office.

About the team

The successful candidate will join a dynamic Finance team based in London and New York, part of the CFO Group. The candidate will be part of the core Tax team based in London and will partner with the wider Finance function to strengthen and enhance tax reporting processes across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

The role will focus on supporting the development of more consistent, robust and scalable reporting practices that improve accuracy, efficiency and governance across the numerous tax reporting cycles. You will identify, assess and deliver technology / AI-enabled solutions / enhancements across core tax reporting processes. In particular:

  • Identify and assess tax reporting process automation opportunities.
  • Seek high-value AI use cases across end-to-end tax / transfer pricing processes and work with the team to build a prioritised roadmap with business cases, ROI and risk / controls considerations.
  • Implement robust solutions aligned to data requirements, quality standards and architecture.
  • Ensure implemented solutions meet applicable internal control requirements (e.g. SOX, IFRS / GAAP implications etc.).
  • Development of associated training materials.
  • Act as key liaison between tax and wider finance users with technical teams

 

You May be a Good Fit if you have:

  • A highly analytical and logical approach to problem solving, with the ability to break down complex issues into clear, structured solutions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query, Power BI and VBA/macros.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and decision-making. Experience with Microsoft Copilot is desirable.
  • Experience with automation technologies, including RPA, workflow tools and API integrations.
  • A strong understanding of tax reporting processes across direct tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing, together with broader finance processes and controls across Billing, Revenue Reporting, Management Accounting and Treasury.
  • Experience working with ERP and finance systems, particularly SAP and Oracle.
  • A professional accounting or tax qualification, or equivalent experience.
