The Chief Data Office is driving Fitch’s data transformation, building modern, scalable, and trusted data solutions that make innovation and smarter ways of working possible across the organization. The MDM (Master Data Management) squad plays an important role in this journey by improving the quality and reliability of Fitch master data, increasing automation through third-party data providers, and helping modernize legacy master data processes and solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career professional interested in data, operations, and continuous improvement, offering the chance to join a collaborative team and contribute meaningfully to a broader transformation journey across the organization.

What We Offer:

This is a great opportunity to join the evolving CDO function and help shape the future of data across the organization. The role will work under the guidance of the local Team Lead and in close partnership with other MDM specialists, supporting the mastering and maintenance of legal entity, security, and other financial reference data.

• Be part of a growing MDM Operations team within the MDM Product, with increasing global visibility and impact across the organization.
• Join a supportive, collaborative, and learning-oriented team that works closely with product, technology, and data teams.
• Gain hands-on experience in data management, operations, and data governance within a business-critical domain.
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy processes and help identify opportunities for greater efficiency and automation.

• Build new skills through training, exposure to modern data tools, and collaboration with global stakeholders.
• Work in a hybrid environment that fosters collaboration and a supportive team culture.

We’ll Count on You To:

• Conduct entity data surveillance through research, validation, and accurate entry into MDM systems to ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability.
• Interpret and use third-party data sources to support the mastering of entity and security data.
• Support stakeholders by managing and responding to data-related requests through established channels, ensuring timely, accurate, and service-oriented resolution.
• Deliver against agreed SLAs and follow established MDM workflows with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Partner with the Team Lead and broader MDM team on day-to-day data operations and continuous improvement across key data domains.
• Contribute to the enhancement of data operations processes, workflows, and procedures to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure data accuracy and coverage standards by maintaining robust documentation and supporting the refinement of data definitions and standards with the broader MDM team.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Knowledge of legal entity, security, and other financial reference data, particularly including bonds, loans, and structured products, is preferred.
• Working knowledge of databases and experience handling large datasets.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills, with a methodical, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
• A high level of accountability and ownership, with the ability to manage tasks reliably and follow through on deliverables.
• Ability to work within established workflows and service levels, managing tasks and stakeholder requests in a timely, accurate, and organized manner.
• A strong willingness to learn new tools, develop technical skills, and grow within a data and operations environment.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with particular strength in Excel.

What Would Help You Stand Out:

• Familiarity with third-party data management platforms and external data providers such as Informatica, FactSet, GLEIF, Dun & Bradstreet, ICE, or Bloomberg.
• Working knowledge of SQL or Python to support data analysis, processing, and workflow automation.
• Interest in using technology, including AI-enabled tools, to improve processes and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate data and solve problems in a practical way.
• Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
