About the Team:
Platform Products is responsible for building shared capabilities that can be leveraged across the organization. We operate a product-led model focused on identifying common business needs, building reusable solutions once, and enabling business units to adopt them at scale.
Our mission is to accelerate innovation, improve consistency, and reduce duplication by delivering platform capabilities across areas of Fitch Solutions. While Business Units focus on their domain expertise and commercial differentiation, Platform Products focuses on the foundational capabilities that support them all. As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in defining, prioritizing, and delivering platform capabilities that create value across multiple business areas.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Build deep expertise in Fitch’s data and products, underlying architecture, and integration points to effectively support platform delivery and client needs.
- Own and manage product backlogs for one or more platform capabilities, ensuring priorities align with business objectives and product roadmaps.
- Partner closely with Product Managers to translate strategic goals into actionable user stories, epics, and feature requirements.
- Run agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data, AI, and business teams to deliver high-quality platform solutions.
- Validate completed functionality, coordinate user acceptance testing, and ensure delivered capabilities meet business needs.
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and delivery blockers across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders across business domains to understand requirements and drive alignment.
- Help establish success metrics and monitor product performance, adoption, and business outcomes.
- Maintain product documentation, process flows, release notes, and knowledge assets to support transparency and scalability.
- Drive effective communication across business and technology stakeholders, ensuring shared understanding of priorities, timelines, and outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our product management and delivery practices
You May be a Good Fit if:
- You have 2+ years of experience in financial services
- You have 2+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management
- Familiarity with Agile principles and experience working in Agile teams (JIRA experience is a plus)
- You have strong communication skills, enjoy collaboration and can effectively engage both technical and business audiences
- You have exposure to AI-enabled products, data platforms, or technology-driven solutions.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
