Fitch Ratings is currently seeking a Producer/Editor with Animation Skills based out of our New York office.
Overview: Fitch Ratings is looking for a client-facing, hands-on, video producer/editor (PREDITOR) with camera, lighting, studio, and editing/post-production skills to join its growing Multimedia team. This newly created position will function as part of a global team to develop multimedia content to strengthen the company’s market presence with the goal of building brand awareness, increasing market share, and maximizing revenues across Fitch’s brands, products, and services.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Responsible for the day-to-day provisioning of video and audio recording in the New York studio, as well as location and remote shoots
- Operate cameras, set up lighting, conduct general videography work, and handle audio recordings as necessary, including the maintenance of studio equipment
- Produce, record, and edit engaging short-form videos, podcasts, animated videos, and multimedia content for company website(s) and various social media platforms
- Generate ideas and develop multimedia content in support of strategic campaigns to drive awareness and generate leads across the Fitch Group businesses
- Analyze, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of video performance and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with other global team members and stakeholders, including Subject Matter Experts, Designers, Marketers, Business Executives, and other internal/external stakeholders in a client-facing capacity
What You Need to Have:
- Degree in television, radio, film, sound, and other new media areas and 7 years of professional experience in a related industry
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, After Effects, and Audition
- Experience with an enterprise-level CMS, Brightcove is a plus
- Strong mastery of camera operation skills, knowledge in green-screen lighting filming, and ENG field shoots. Experience with remote capture applications a plus.

- Strong conceptual thinker with the ability to prioritize, execute, and manage multiple projects at one time
- Candidates with high proficiency in motion graphics and infographic design will be given first consideration
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English), fluency in Spanish a plus
- Personal network of vetted crew contacts and video resources in the region that can be called upon for projects
- Strong time management skills and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Demo reel required. Candidate should be prepared to discuss in detail

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $125,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
