We’ll Count on You To:
- Create and implement a Sales Strategy for Fitch Solutions BMI business across North America
- Actively establish and build strong relationships with C-suite decision makers to win new logos and cross-sell into existing clients.
- Set-up and engage strategic meetings with clients and potential customers to identify the new sales opportunities with strong product knowledge, market knowledge, competitive landscape and be highly organized and accomplished at solving problems and closing deals.
- Leverage cross-functional internal teams (including Client Services, Product Specialists, Analysts, Marketing) to develop the strategic plans to actively approach new potential customers and displace competitors.
- Assist the Global Head to create a highly performing team aligned with our growth strategy to expand the region.
- Grow the sales pipeline and increase the pipeline conversion rate for BMI (specific targets will be confirmed).
- Work closely with other specialists in the US to build a consistent sales approach for BMI for new prospects and existing customers.
- Work closely with the Product team to ensure our value proposition is well crafted for new products and is well connected to our sales opportunity landscape.
- Convert inbound leads alongside lead generation through a variety of channels.
- Aggressively drive sales by prospecting, cold calling, qualifying, and securing meetings with appropriate prospects.
- Manage the entire sales process from qualification through to negotiation and close.
- Work collaboratively with assigned Account Managers to cross sell Country Risk / Industry Research products into existing accounts.
- Consistently achieve sales activity KPIs.
- Accurately report revenue forecasts and manage pipeline progression in Salesforce.
What You Need to Have:
- Bachelors Degree within a Finance, Business, Commerce or Economics discipline.
- Strong knowledge of Macro Economics, Country Risk, Industry Research is required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, especially new logo hunting.
- Experience in building strong relationship with C-suites, decision makers and client facing role with cold calling, product demoing and training.
- Confident and professional telephone manner to develop rapport quickly with prospective clients.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written with ability to communicate clearly and concisely by email.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills and results driven.
- Proficient user of Outlook and other Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
- Applicants must have excellent attention to detail, be pro-active and hardworking

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $130,000 and $165,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
