Fitch Learning is currently seeking an M&A Integration & Strategic Operations, Associate Director based out of our New York office.  

 

About the Team: 
Fitch Learning is seeking an Associate Director, M&A Integration & Strategic Operations to support current and future acquisitions and help evolve how the business operates on a scale. This role partners with and will report to the Head of M&A Integration & Strategic Operations. The ideal candidate will work at the intersection of strategy, execution, and growth innovation. He/she will bring a strong one team mindset, is equally comfortable discussing global business strategy and driving day-to-day execution, and has a genuine interest in financial services, credit markets, fintech/edtech, or the future of professional learning. This role requires both rigor and curiosity, someone who challenges the status quo and continuously looks for better ways to operate.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 
•    Support and help execute end-to-end M&A integration, translating strategy into execution across people, process, technology, and data
•    Apply organizational and operational best practices to improve efficiency, scalability, and governance across a global business
•    Bring a digitally enabled, automation-oriented lens to integration and operations
•    Own and evolve management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs; develop executive-ready materials for leadership
•    Translate complex operational and business performance data into clear, visual, decision-oriented insights
•    Partner cross-functionally and cross-regionally, operating effectively in a diverse, global, multicultural environment
•    Contribute to thought leadership, including representing the business at conferences, industry forums, and client-facing events

 

You May be a Good Fit if:
•    You have 5–8 years of experience in strategic operations, M&A integration, business operations, consulting, or a closely related field
•    You’re genuinely interested in financial services and curious about adjacent areas such as fintech, edtech, and AI and digitally enabled learning models
•    You have a track record of building management reporting, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations
•    You’re comfortable working with KPIs and financial metrics and partnering with stakeholders across regions and functions
•    You have hands-on experience using applied AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini and stay current on the rapidly evolving AI landscape
•    You can move seamlessly between setting strategy and driving hands-on execution

FOR NEW YORK: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 USD and $110,000 per year. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
