CreditSights- Lead Quality Assurance Analyst

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full QA life cycle including creation of Test Strategy, Test Scenarios, Test Cases/Scripts
  • Manage the end-to-end Defect life cycle management for all supported apps/platforms
  • Review stories, functional requirements and technical designs to create test plans and detailed test cases
  • Lead the manual and automated testing efforts for multiple projects and products
  • Work closely with product managers, developers and other teams to develop a deep understanding of  product requirements and ensure proper tests are documented
  • Perform different types of tests including functional, regression, smoke and automation
  • Assist product and support teams in pre & post launch activities as required
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability
  • Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failures
  • Assist with triaging, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered during testing
  • Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet the business objectives and deadlines
  • Work with agile software development processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Automate test cases using automation tools such as Selenium Web Driver using Java and Katalon
  • Perform DB queries (SQL Server, PostgreSql) to create, validate and crosscheck backend data 
  • Perform testing for APIs using tools like postman, insomnia etc.
  • Use Jira/Confluence for creating bugs, test cases and documentation

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
  • 4 to 6 years of overall Quality Assurance experience
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, procedures & testing techniques
  • Demonstrated experience in test strategy development, test planning, test design and test execution
  • Experience testing public-facing websites and portals
  • Hand-on experience in automation tools like selenium with Java, Katalon Studio etc.
  • Background in testing tools in the Financial Services space a plus
  • Experience with Postman, Insomnia, and other standard API testing tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively utilizing tools such as Teams, Slack etc. 
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Must have SQL knowledge
  • Continuous learner with the aptitude and interest in gaining advanced domain knowledge and new skills

 

***This is a hybrid role, with 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. Last interview will be in person.

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY:  Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $ 130,000 to $ 155,000.   Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors.  Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
